60’s True Vintage Nan Duskin of Philadelphia Gold Dress

Fabulous 60’s dress in an unusual ¨woven ¨fabric, which is in shades of gold, possibly silk as the fibres in the weave  are visible.

Made by Nan Duskin of Philadelphia, quite a rare find.

Almost like narrow ribbons woven in a basket weave, I do not know the name of this material.

The dress is very stylish, fitted at the waist, the front is wrapped around with a curved hem.

I purchased this, with many others, from a New York model.

There are three covered buttons to each side of the high neck- could have been designed for a hostess on a space mission.

Sleeveless, fully lined in flesh coloured sateen, with a long metal zip to the back. Size  approx 36-38 EU 8-10 

The condition is very good, zip is working but needs replacement.
