60’s Saks Fifth Avenue New York Two piece Suit

Fabulous 60’s “Mad Men” two piece wool suit from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.

This double breasted suit is amazing, a beautiful bright pink with a mix of purple olive green and yellow in the weave.

The overall condition is excellent  with a 100% pink silk lining, which is good for its age, shows some wear in the underarm region. (see photo)

The New York Union and Saks labels indicate that it is from 1967, and it gives the models details.

The size is 38/40 EU 10, check measurements. The dress has capped sleeves with perspiration pads tacked in, these can easily be removed for washing.

The back features a long hidden zip to the right shoulder rather than central.
